Council
The composition of the South Transdanubian Regional Development Council (19 members) depends on the parliament and local elections.
The role and the tasks of the Council:
- Inititates and approves the regional development plans reporting on the national plans
- Supervises the implementation of the programmes
- Decides upon the allocation of decentralized national funds.
- Enters into agreements with foreign regions, participates in international cooperations
